A few years ago, I retired from Notre Dame Health Care Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, as its CEO. During my tenure, we created the Notre Dame Educational Center, and, through this program, our Citizenship Program developed, which assists immigrants in the health care field; more than 170 immigrants have become U.S. citizens with the support of Notre Dame. 

 

As I searched for a way to counter the anti-immigration forces that exist today, I determined to use my art to do so. I love painting, but I also want a purpose for my art. 

 

Thus, I am now committed to donate all proceeds earned by my art to The Citizenship Program at the Notre Dame Health Care Center.
